Yes! Liq is free, and we plan on keeping it that way. Liq started out as a software engineer and his bourbon collection. He wanted to track his tastings and freely share with friends, and thus Liq was born.

Getting Started

You can start with either creating a new collection or importing an existing one. Or you can go directly to Tastings. If you enter a spirit in your collection, you can tie a tasting to it. All you do is click New Tasting next to the spirit in your collection, and you're all set!

Most of us aren't professional tasters, so Liq helps you there, too. During your tasting, tap the Tasting Wheels tab and you will see inspirational tasting wheels to match with what you're experiencing.

Live Tastings With Friends!

Part of the fun that is spirits is sharing a dram with friends. Liq lets you do this in novel ways. First, you can create a tasting and then toggle the Live Tasting switch. Then, you just share the link and your friends can share their tasting notes. To get started, simply click Tastings on the left.

You can also simply share your tasting without additional input. Just tap the Share Publicly option. You can turn Live Tastings and public sharing off at any time, just by flipping a switch. Easy, eh?

Managing Your Collection

You can easily add items to your collection, edit them, and even remove them. Just click Collection on the left. If you enter a purchase date, the Collection screen will let you know which spirits you haven't tasted yet. This will help with choosing what to enjoy next.
